One fan gifted something unique to her mother-in-law about 20-time Grand Slam Champion, Rafa Nadal and the video trended and became viral due to the recipient’s priceless yet hilarious reaction.
A life-size cardboard piece for Nadal’s oldest fan
Missey Meloche is the person who gifted the life-size cardboard piece of World No.2 Rafa Nadal to her mother-in-law as the Spaniard has always been her most admired player in tennis.
The mother-in-law showed so much obsession with the gift that she was not ready to leave it. She hugged Rafa so tightly as if he was actually standing right in front of her. It was thus the best Christmas present for the fan.
The Grandmother, whose love for Nadal resides in her heart for life, didn’t allow the camera to see the gift as cardboard Nadal was only facing her until she turned it around.
It was really a great gesture and people on social media really liked it.
The 34-year-old Nadal has had quite an impressive year although not being able to deliver his best in a few tournaments.
Nadal will surely be eyeing the Australian Open 2021 next- a Grand Slam he hasn’t won since 2009 and also an opportunity to overtake friend and foe, Roger Federer in the race to the most number of Grand Slams in men’s tennis.
