Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are currently spending time in London ahead of Kohli’s trip to Sri Lanka for the upcoming ODI series. In a video that has gone viral, the starry couple was spotted in a Kirtan hosted by Union Chapel held by Krishna Das. Das who is known as the ‘Rockstar of Yoga’ blends traditional Indian incantations with modern day music.
Multiple clips and pictures of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma being together have been going viral already. The couple have already made ripples together, occasionally posting their snaps together, sending the fans into absolute frenzy whenever they have posed together, whether at an event or a vacation.
For the ones who aren’t well versed, Krishna Das was originally known as Jeffrey Kagel, embarked upon his spiritual journey in the 1960s. He then travelled to India and visited Neem Karoli Baba whom Kohli and Anushka Sharma are disciples of.
Earlier in this year, Sharma shared snaps from the Kirtan and tagged Krishna Das in the posts. This is not the first time that the couple was seen in his Kirtan but even in the last edition of this Kirtan, both Kohli and Sharma were seen too.
What are India’s upcoming assignments?
Virat Kohli is going to be a part of the Indian squad for the upcoming ODI series against Sri Lanka which will be happening on the back of the upcoming T20I series that starts from today. After Kohli and Rohit Sharma stepped down from the shortest format of the game, India accommodated a flurry of fresh faces in their T20I squad and after conquering Zimbabwe, they are on their way to Sri Lanka.
For the three-match ODI series, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will be back in the side while the presence of the youngsters like Riyan Parag, Shivam Dube, Khaleel Ahmed and Harshit Rana promotes a firm balance in the squad as well. India will be playing three T20Is and three ODIs against Sri Lanka. The ODI series is also going to be one amongst the two that the Men in Blue will play en route to the 2025 Champions Trophy.
