Indian leg-spin bowler Yuzvendra Chahal recently tied the knot with dance choreographer Dhanashree Verma. The 30-year-old cricketer had gotten engaged during the month of August just before the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 commenced. The two were reportedly dating for a while before their engagement. In the IPL, Dhanashree was seen accompanying Chahal wherever he went and the latter had a more than decent tournament helping his side finish fourth.

After the IPL, Chahal represented India in the limited-overs series against Australia. After an ordinary ODI series where the leggie struggled to hold his own, he burst into life in the first T20I by picking up the Man of the Match award after coming on as a concussion substitute for Ravindra Jadeja. India went on to win the T20 series. Chahal returned to India before the Test series as he wasn’t a part of the squad.

Following the wedding ceremony on Tuesday, the newly-wedded couple were showered with wishes and blessings from the cricket fraternity and fans around the world. Today, Chahal took to Instagram to thank everybody for the same and also shared a ‘special’ video for everybody.

The slow-motion video shows flowers being showered on the couple. Chahal captioned the post saying, “Thank you for all the love and blessings #DhanaSaidYuz Sharing a special reel for you guys @tejas_dodo thank you for capturing this.” Chahal is expected to be seen in action in England’s tour of India next.
