Watzke opens up on Raiola and Erling Haaland deal

The football leagues across the globe are slowly reaching the business end of the season. Barring Italy, every other top European club has a chance to steal the title under the noses of the opposition. Few clubs are not only battling for the title and Champions League qualification but also to keep hold of the talented players. Borussia Dortmund CEO, Watzke, is also in the same position and is trying to keep hold of Erling Braut Haaland for one more season.
What did Watzke speak on the Haaland transfer?

Erling Braut Haaland has become one of the hottest properties in Europe because of his goal-scoring record with the several outfits. The teenager joined Borussia Dortmund in the winter transfer window of 2019/20 season and has shone for both club and country. The 20-year-old has banged goals left, right and center and helped BVB to finish in the top two last season.
Despite player giving his 100%, Borussia Dortmund are struggling to keep going in the German league as they find themselves out of the top four. Erling Haaland has 30 G/A in just 26 games for the German outfit. The player’s agent, Mino Raiola is used to speak about the player’s potential transfer in the upcoming summer transfer window. However, the BVB CEO is skeptical about the transfer of the sensational striker and stated that he will remain at Dortmund.
Talking to one of the major sports outlet, Sport 1, Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke said:
"I've known Raiola for a long time and get along well with him. It's no problem for us. Erling Haaland will remain a Borussia Dortmund player next year”.
The player’s release clause of 65 million pounds is all set to activate in the summer of 22 and can hamper the finances of BVB. It remains interesting to see will the player remain with the German outfit or not.
