Virat Kohli shared a picture today of his wife Anushka Sharma and daughter Vamika on the occasion of women’s day. He also wrote a message for the two as well as the rest of the women in the world wishing them.
Vamika was born on the 11th of January and the couple have been particular about safeguarding her privacy from the eye of the media and the public. The two got married in 2017 in Italy and are viewed as India’s ultimate power couple. Kohli has always stated as to how grateful he is for his wife’s support in everything he does. Even recently during a podcast with Mark Nicholas, Kohli had said, “She has been a pillar of strength for me. Because she herself is at a level where she had to deal with a lot of that negativity. So she understands my situation and I understand her situation.”

On the occasion of Women’s Day, Virat Kohli took to Instagram to post a picture of his wife and daughter. He captioned the post, “Seeing the birth of a child is the most spine chilling, unbelievable and amazing experience a human being can have. After witnessing that, you understand the true strength and divinity of women and why God created life inside them. It’s because they are way stronger than us men. Happy Women’s Day to the most fiercely, compassionate and strong woman of my life and to the one who’s going to grow up to be like her mother. And also a Happy Women’s Day to all the amazing women of the world.”
Virat Kohli is meanwhile, in Ahmedabad at the moment where is preparing for the upcoming T20I series against England following the 3-1 test series win.
