Explained : Cristiano Ronaldo's contract details from Al Nassr

The 37-year-old dramatically left Manchester United earlier this month by mutual consent after he slammed the club's officials, coach, and players in a fiery interview with Piers Morgan.

Ronaldo, who is currently with Portugal at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, had previously been pursued by Saudi Arabian clubs but had declined an offer to sign Al-Hilal in the summer after being offered more than £300 million to do so.

Ronaldo's original plan is to stay in Europe so he can proceed to play in the Champions League, but Al Nassr has offered him a record-breaking contract that would excite him to move to Saudi Arabia.

Al Nassr's offer is reported to be a three-year agreement worth up to £250 million annually after add-ons, incentives, and bonuses are taken into account

Although Ronaldo has not yet responded to Al Nassr's offer, he made it clear in his interview with Morgan that he wants to keep playing at the greatest level.

Ronaldo has been associated with two Premier League teams in the past: Newcastle United, owned by the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, and Chelsea.
