Beloved Hollywood actor Wendell Pierce was forced to leave Game 5 of the World Series. This happened due to “unruly obnoxious” fans who apparently threw things at him. Right after the game, the star took to social media to vent his frustration and disappointment at the fan’s behavior.
The incident occurred when Pierce tried to speak to a Dodgers fan, although he did not note the time or moment. His sad experience at the World Series lowered his overall excitement and washed away his passion for the game.
He spoke about how Gerrit Cole’s hit in the 5th and Freddie Freeman’s four-game consecutive HR streak “mean nothing to me” because of his experience. He further continued to say,
Unfortunately I just left the Yankees game because I was talking to a Dodgers fan and people were throwing things at me. Unruly, obnoxious people can ruin everything. The worst experience ever. The game and experience is of no significance now. The spirit of sports ends with the…

It is not clear who he came to cheer for, but he was seen wearing a New York Yankees cap in the seats. After the Los Angeles Dodgers won the World Series with a 4-1 lead, Wendell Pierce congratulated them by wearing a Dodgers hat this time. Nevertheless, some fans ruined his day.
Mookie Betts-Yankees fan incident gained criticism and even ban from MLB
Wendell Pierce was not the only one with a bad fan experience in the 2024 World Series. During Game 4 at the Yankee Stadium, two Yankees fans tussled with LA Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts and caused a wild stir in the baseball world.
In order to help the NY Yankees, the duo tried snatching a foul ball right off Betts’ glove in Game 4. The incident gained huge criticism from both the fans and pundits of Major League Baseball.

They were even allowed to participate in Game 5, but the MLB requested the Yankees to ban them after causing such a stir. Seems like the 2024 World Series had enough drama for the year. With the Fall Classic, the Yankees will try to win the Series Championship next year while the Dodgers celebrate their victory.
