Kylian Mbappe sets massive target for 2025

Kylian Mbappe, despite his unbelievable performances over the years, is yet to win a Ballon d’Or. After signing for Real Madrid ahead of the 2024/25 season, the Frenchman will most likely have to witness teammate Vinicius Jr. be crowned as the winner of the 68th Ballon d’Or award. After a slow start to the season, Mbappe will now shift his focus to getting his hands on the elusive award.

As per reports, Mbappe has made winning the Ballon d’Or in 2025 as one of his priorities, with the player willing to skip ‘unimportant’ games for France to avoid injury. Despite the apparent confusion in his absence from the French camp, reports claim that the player had already communicated the same during the previous international break.

France, despite two wins from three games, is still one point behind group leaders Italy in the Nations League. In the absence of Mbappe, Eduardo Camavinga, Bradley Barcola and Christopher Nkunku all scored in a 4-1 victory against Israel. France play their next game against Belgium in a must-win game for The Red Devils.
