West Brom vs Brighton : Brighton took on West Brom in the 3rd round fixture of the FA Cup. Both sides were evenly contested throughout the game, but the away side was able to get a 1-2 win past their opponents to move into the next round of the tournament. David Button (5/10): A tough day for Button tonight against Brighton, he had a very busy between the posts as the Brighton attackers took every chance they had to score an equalizer, the keeper let two balls past him and will be disappointed with the loss tonight.
Cédric Kipré (3.5/10): Kipre was one of the key reasons for Brighton’s comeback against his side. The player was sent off in the 69th minute of the game. He made some rash defensive tackles that got him booked in the 67th minute, soon after the player could have played smart but decided to lunge into a tackle, and was sent off.
Kyle Bartley (5/10): A very tough day for Bartley as he was seldom the last man on defense, the center-back had a hard time fending off against the Brighton attackers and was hounded after Kipre was sent off.
Conor Townsend (5/10): A decent game for Townsend who was perhaps the best player in West Brom’s defensive unit tonight. The player made some great tackles for his side to keep them in the game, but couldn’t cope against the relentless Brighton attackers after being reduced to ten men on defense.

Kjell Scherpen (7/10): Scherpen was rock solid for Brighton acting as their guardian angel tonight against West Brom, after conceding in the 47th minute the goalkeeper made a strong comeback and made some strong saves to keep his side in the game.
Joël Veltman (6/10): Veltman made some great tackles in the defense tonight, and was pinpointed with his interceptions, he made some great tackles to thwart the attacks from the opposition attackers inside the third. He was subbed off in the 76th minute in the game to add more attacking players in the lineup.
Shane Duffy (5.5/10): Duffy had a decent outing away from home, the defender made some good tackles for his side to keep them in the game. It is never easy to play 120 minutes and the player displayed his tenacity tonight against the opposition.
