It is no hidden truth that CM Punk and Drew McIntyre despise each other. The two men have been at loggerheads for months. From insults on social media to ruining each other’s big moments, they have done it all. After expressing their bitter feelings for each other to the world, the Best in the World had to autograph a ‘Drew McIntyre’ t-shirt to keep his fans happy.
A fan slid the new t-shirt of Drew McIntyre over to CM Punk for an autograph. Interestingly, the shirt had a list of accomplishments written on it, including that of McIntyre injuring The Second City Saint. While Punk looked confused, he ended up keeping his cool and signing the t-shirt.
Evidently, unlike his rival, The Voice of the Voiceless isn’t obsessed with McIntyre. It looked like he respected the fan’s wishes more than he hated McIntyre. Although he is the same person who cost Drew the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XL, The Scottish Warrior also shares similar feelings, as he has also revealed that he prayed for Punk’s tricep injury.
With the return of the Best in the World on the horizon, it seems WWE has massive plans for this feud. Punk and Drew are rumored to face each other at SummerSlam this year. It is going to be a must-see match between the two arch rivals, who won’t hesitate to destroy each other.
Sheamus called out Drew McIntyre for praying for CM Punk’s injury
The intensity of the feud between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre is higher than ever. Now, it seems another former WWE Champion has dipped his feet into the rivalry. Sheamus, who is also at odds with The Scottish Warrior, has taken a shot at him for praying for the Best in the World’s injury.
The Celtic Warrior took to X to mock McIntyre. He took a jab at his former partner, claiming that he had never prayed for anyone’s injury. Furthermore, The Irish-born wrestler boasted himself by saying that he always sorts issues inside the ring and mental issues with psychotherapy. In addition to that, Sheamus expressed his respect for the Straight Edge Superstar by sharing two videos of their wholesome interactions.
Never pray for injury to another fighter. A true warrior solves his outward problems with combat & inward problems with intense psycho therapy. #whatgoesaround #growupSheamus on X
This past week on Raw, Sheamus interrupted McIntyre. The Celtic King took no time in berating the former WWE Champion for his obsession over Punk. In response, the 38-year-old star mocked the Irish born wrestler for his physique.
