Cody Rhodes made his return to the red brand after spending several months away on the latest episode of Raw. The WWE Undisputed Champion made his cross-brand appearance to confront the World Heavyweight Champion Gunther. These two top champions of the company are set to clash in Saudi Arabia for the Crown Jewel Championship.
After the show went off the air, Rhodes addressed the live crowd. He thanked them for being part of such a long night, which was a double taping for the red brand. The American Nightmare showed appreciation for the ring and production crew who made the show possible, as well as ring announcer Samantha Irvin.
Cody Rhodes also signed his tie and said that he was going to give it away to the loudest member of the audience. The 39-year-old then brought a child into the ring, who was dressed in American Nightmare clothing. He put the tie around his neck and hoisted him up on his shoulder. Even after the long taping, Rhodes stayed for a while to take photos and sign items for the fans.
The WWE Undisputed Champion also confronted Gunther on the latest episode of Raw. The Ring General told him that he normally dressed his opponent down with uncomfortable truths. However, there was not much negative to say about Rhodes, as the current wrestling boom was majorly built on his back. However, this turned out to be a ruse as the World Heavyweight Champion tried to ambush him later.
Cody Rhodes talks about hosting WrestleMania in the UK
Although WWE has hosted many international shows and PLEs in the past few years, they are hesitant to do so regarding their Big 4 PLEs, especially WrestleMania. The show has only been held outside of the USA a few times in Canada and never outside North America.

Speaking to BBC 5Live, Rhodes said that hosting WrestleMania in the UK was definitely a possibility, as the country surely had the venues to support it. He believed that even American fans would want to travel overseas to Manchester, London, or wherever it would be held. Furthermore, when someone like John Cena advocates for an idea, it mostly tends to happen.
Rhodes said that he wanted to see WrestleMania take place in the UK within the next five years. The American Nightmare may be close to getting his wish soon. In the past few months, there have been talks of hosting the Showcase of the Immortals in London. Triple H and other WWE officials even had a meeting with the London Mayor for a discussion on the same.
