Other than his achievements inside the octagon, McGregor is also loved for his personality and patriotism. Trump was recently in a meeting with the Irish Prime Minister, Michael Martin, where he thought of talking about McGregor. Surprisingly, the POTUS mentioned McGregor’s iconic tattoos while appreciating Irish people. 

McGregor’s tattoos have always been the reflection of his personality and journey. His chest features a large gorilla wearing a crown and biting a heart, which is widely popular. His abdomen area has a tiger, representing power, and with that his name ‘McGregor’ is inked across his stomach.

The Irishman’s tattoos are so iconic that anyone who gets a similar tattoo gets compared to the ‘Mystic Mac’. Recently, top pound-for-pound fighter, Ilia Topuria was also accused of copying McGregor for his similar tattoos. It makes sense why Trump particularly mentioned McGregor’s tattoos in his recent discussion.

Conor McGregor is excited for Donald Trump’s next tenure as the President of the United States 

Donald Trump recently became the 47th President of the United States, and it’s his second time in that position. Trump and his campaign were spearheaded by Billionaires like Elon Musk who worked very effectively during the election. Trump also got the endorsement from some big names from the UFC community like Dana White and Joe Rogan 

Conor McGregor was also a big supporter of Donald Trump and made it out to his inaugural ceremony in Washington DC. The ‘Notorious’ also met his old rivals Logan and Jake Paul during the ceremony, which made headlines. Nevertheless, while talking about Trump, McGregor had some positive things to say. 

McGregor has been out of action for more than three years and lately has been very busy in politics. The Irish fighter was often observed publicly speaking about Ireland’s internal policies and has shown interest in mending them. However, it is important to point out that his relationship with Trump has remained quite rocky last year. 

When Donald Trump ditched Conor McGregor from his favorite fighters list

As a huge UFC fan and a close friend to Dana White, Donald Trump often makes appearances in UFC events. Every time, he gets a massive welcome from the UFC fans as well as from the fighters. His last outing was at UFC 309, where he celebrated his election win with Jon Jones defending his belt in the main event. 

Before that, he visited UFC 302, meeting the legendary Khabib Nurmagomedov, and their clips went viral. Trump has often mentioned his admiration for the Dagestani star, and his achievements both inside and outside the octagon. During a stream with Adin Ross, Trump doubled down on his comments.

Expectedly, this didn’t go well with Conor McGregor given his long standing rivalry with Nurmagomedov and his team. The ‘Notorious’ was quick to respond and mocked Trump’s election campaign. However, it seemed like after the elections, they squashed their beef and maintained their relationship.
