What is going wrong for Washington Wizards?

Bradley Beal and Russell Westbrook

Ever since Russell Westbrook has joined the Washington Wizards, a new formidable pairing in the Eastern Conference has begun. Game after game both Bradley Beal and Westbrook have scored big together. Even in the game against Chicago Bulls, Beal and Westbrook scored a combined tally of 50 points. But this stat is not enough to progress deep in the NBA. As the Washington Wizards have now lost 4 in 4 in the 2020-21 season, let’s look up to what is going wrong for them?
Zach LaVine top scored from the Chicago Bulls as they registered their first win of the 2020-21 season. This is Washington Wizard’s worst start since 2012-13, wherein they lost 12 straight games. Russell Westbrook however had his third straight triple-double with 21 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists.
Chicago Bulls beat Washington Wizards
The Bulls never let the pressure off the shoulders of the Wizards. Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal as a duo have yet to fully click together for the Washington Wizards. But, the two players working together have definitely shown potential in the games they have played. On the other hand, the Chicago Bulls as a team have looked mediocre at best this season. But this win will surely give them confidence to bloom out in the remaining games.
But how long can the Bulls continue their win streak will be answered when the season goes on. While the Wizards need to dig deep to finally get out with a victory, clearly Beal and Westbrook performing is not paying off. The Wizards will play the Chicago Bulls again in their next encounter, let’s see if the outcome will be the same or will Wizards be any different?
