The main event of the latest episode of SmackDown featured a WarGames advantage match for the men’s side of things. Jey Uso took on Jacob Fatu. The winner of the match would make sure that his team members enter the cage first, giving them the temporary numbers advantage.

Fatu showed incredible resilience throughout the match and even kicked out of a spear and diving splash. After a Samoan Drop on the announcers’ table and a diving moonsault, the former MLW superstar picked up the pinfall victory and earned his team the advantage. The rest of The Bloodline came out, and the Samoan Werewolf embraced Solo Sikoa. They talked trash to a battered Jey and put up their fingers as the show went off the air.

Fan-recorded footage has now given fans a peek into what happened after the cameras stopped rolling. The Bloodline made their way to the ramp and looked back at Uso. The former Intercontinental Champion was seen on his knees as he was trying to regain his composure. The Samoan faction put up their fingers once again before walking back through the curtains.

Uso got up on his feet and started walking up behind them. The 10x Tag Team Champion looked visibly upset after his loss. However, it is safe to say that the 39-year-old would be looking for revenge on Saturday night. Furthermore, fan interest in this match is at an all-time high, especially after the addition of CM Punk and Bronson Reed to these teams.

Jim Cornette goes off on Jey Uso for his sloppy work

Jey Uso was a tag team competitor for a major part of his career. It is extremely rare for someone like that to break out as a huge singles superstar, especially in WWE. However, the 39-year-old has done it almost seamlessly, becoming one of the top stars in the company. Regardless, not everyone is a fan of the Samoan, including Jim Cornette.

On a recent episode of Jim Cornette’s Drive-Thru podcast, the 63-year-old said that he loved Uso in the Bloodline storyline. However, he often got ticked off by seeing his sloppy work. Regardless, WWE clearly found something that worked with him, as evidenced by how over he is with fans.

We’ve talked about this a million times and his (Jey Uso) place in The Bloodline is integral because he is a member of the family but godda*n that sloppy work is killing me.

Cornette said that the WWE Universe loved his ‘Yeet’ stuff. Furthermore, fans are heavily invested in his entrance. They waved their hands and turned on their flashlights, and his merchandise could be seen all over the place. Other WWE superstars like Bayley have commended the entrance after being blown away by the atmosphere.
