It has been 16 years since Kim Kardashian split from former NFL running back Reggie Bush. The beauty phenom and her ex find themselves in two different situations with the former divorced three times, most recently from rapper Kanye West while the latter is happily married to Lilit Avagyan.
Despite having walked along different paths in their life, Reggie Bush holds no bitterness towards Kim Kardashian in his heart. The couple dated for two years from 2007 to 2009. They almost got back in 2012 after the social media star divorced Kris Humphries. Their on-and-off relationship seemed to be headed for marriage but ultimately, things did not work out and fate had other plans for them.
In 2018, Reggie Bush spoke out in the aftermath of his split from Kim K. Four years after his marriage, Bush in an exclusive with US Magazine spoke positively of his ex-girlfriend.
Bush had just one year before the interview, after an illustrious eight-year career in the NFL, retired. The star made it clear that he is no longer in contact with Kim K but wishes her the best in life. Bush was impressed with Kim K’s business acumen.

Kim Kardashian has played her cards well. She has successfully created and marketed multiple brands across the shapewear, cosmetics, and fragrance industries. Her brainchild SKIMS has taken off since launch and women of diverse body shapes, sizes, and skin tones have widely promoted it.
There was good reason to believe the existence of bad blood between Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush following their breakup. Several reports indicated that the running back was insecure and not a fan of his girlfriend’s growing fame. The duo were close to moving in together but their busy schedules ultimately made them part ways.
Subsequently, when Kim K began dating NFL star Miles Austin, the running back was furious. In an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim received a call from a furious Bush once he found out about her dalliance with Austin.
A few years later, in another episode of the show, Kim Kardashian received an angry phone call from Reggie Bush after her car wash was charged to his card. This fuelled the speculation of bad blood between them. However, Bush is now content with his family. He is a happily married man and a father to three wonderful children, Briseis, Uriah, and Agyemang.
