It’s one of the biggest honors in the world to clinch an Olympic medal and it doesn’t come easy. From countless sacrifices to scaling overwhelming mountains of odds, an athlete has to walk through the blazes with a smile to eventually make it. In the latest edition of the Summer Olympics games in Paris, a total of 146 medals have already been handed over (at the time of writing).

However, it isn’t just the medal that is being given to the winners. In the visuals that follow suit, alongside the famed medals, the winners get a mystery golden box that has been driving the chatter all around the globe about what exactly is inside.

It’s the official Olympic poster for this year’s Summer Games as revealed by the International Olympic Committee. The posters have been engineered by French artist, Ugo Gattoni. As per the report, he spent 2000 hours in four months being the mastermind behind the design. It is also available online for the fans to buy.

In addition to the medals and the official Olympic poster, winners are also awarded a plushie of the 2024 Paris Olympics official mascot, the Phryges. It is premised on the Phrygian caps or more popularly known as liberty caps which are tender conical headpieces with the top curled forward which is significant in terms of embodying the French Revolution.

The latest edition of the Summer Games has already proved itself to be a blockbuster. There have been incredible events that have rocked the world.

The latest day in the games saw a handful of blockbuster showdowns which included the medal events of the mixed 10m air pistol team and India’s Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh landed the second medal for the contingent. Other notable showdowns of the day include Carlos Alcaraz and Rafael Nadal teaming up against Tallon Griekspoor and Wesley Koolhof. Gael Monfils will also be in action on the same day in the second-round contest, teaming up with Edouard Roger-Vasselin to take on Germany’s Kevin Krawietz and Tim Puetz.
