The Kabaddi action is back once again as the Pro Kabaddi League 2021 is all set to get underway on Wednesday, 22nd December. The tournament which was last staged in 2019 was halted due to the Covid-19 pandemic and is now returning after a two-year hiatus. Fans, experts, and enthusiasts have been eagerly waiting for the eighth edition of PKL to witness the top raids and tackles by their favourite superstars of the game.

Unfortunately, PKL 2021 will be played behind closed doors without any crowds or fans to avoid the risk of Covid-19. All the matches of the mega-event will be played in Bengaluru at the Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel and Convention Centre which has been turned into an integrated and secured bio-bubble to maintain the health and safety of all the players, support staff, and the individuals involved in the staging of the competition.

Pro Kabaddi League season 8 will witness 12 teams namely Bengal Warriors, Bengaluru Bulls, U Mumba, Puneri Paltan, Telugu Titans, Haryana Steelers, Dabang Delhi K.C., Patna Pirates, U.P. Yoddha, Tamil Thalaivas, Gujarat Giants, and Jaipur Pink Panthers fight for the coveted PKL title. The competition will start on 22nd December with a clash between Bengaluru Bulls and U Mumba.

Three matches i.e Triple Panga will be played each day at 7:30 PM IST, 8:30 PM IST, and 9:30 PM IST. As of now, the PKL management has released the schedule of the first half only with the rest slated to be announced later.
