Indian football team

The Indian National Football team is set to play two international friendlies on the 25th and 29th of March against Oman and the United Arab Emirates respectively.


These two international friendlies are being played in a bid to strengthen the team ahead if the FIFA World Cup qualifiers later on this year.

India to play Oman and United Arab Emirates


The team is currently training under new coach Igor Stimac at Dubai. They landed in the middle East on the 15th of March itself and have been training ever since. A 27 member squad has been named by Igor Stimac for these two friendlies.

The first match will be the national team’s first fixture since November 2019. It is set to take place on March 25, 2021 (Thursday) at the Maktoum Bin Rashid Stadium in Dubai.

India are then set to play UAE in a friendly match on March 29, 2021 (Monday) at the Zabeel Stadium in Dubai.


Both the fixtures against Oman and the United Arab Emirates will be telecasted by EuroSports in India. The timings for both games are as follows:
