Conor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier has finally been booked for UFC 257, after all the recent social media ruckus and commotion. The two will run back their 2014 fight on January 23, 2021. The match also marks the return of Conor McGregor from his third retirement, and the Irishman will be looking to comeback with a bang. The fight will take place in the lightweight division, and a win for either one of them, will propel them up in the rankings.
Elsewhere, newly signed UFC lightweight Michael Chandler is hunting for an opponent. The “face of Bellator MMA” is yet to make his debut and has been calling out a truckload of fighters, ever since he was named the back-up fighter for Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Justin Gaethje at UFC 254.

Now, ‘El Cucuy’ Tony Ferguson is also busy searching for an opponent, and fighting Tony Ferguson would do a world of good for Michael Chandler, since he will be taking on a legend of the sport in only his first fight. It will also mean, Michael Chandler’s wish of fighting a notable opponent in his introductory fight getting fulfilled.
