The Paris Olympics, the biggest sporting event of the year, is just around the corner. The event, which begins on July 26, features almost all the countries in the world as they compete in various sports, including tennis, for gold, silver, and bronze medals.

The biggest tennis stars in the business like Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz, and Iga Swiatek are set to be in action at the Summer Games. The Olympics recently released headshots of the players on their website and fans were surprised by what they saw.

They uploaded close-up pictures of the players, who all sported serious looks. As soon as the pictures were released, fans began making fun of them, with one comparing the pictures to mugshots of prisoners.

Players are set to compete in singles and doubles in Paris and hope to win their country’s medals. For some, like Carlos Alcaraz and Coco Gauff, this will be their maiden Olympics; for others like Djokovic, it could be their final appearance.

The Olympics released pictures of some of the players competing in the upcoming Paris Games, which caught the attention of tennis fans worldwide. Pictures of Novak Djokovic and Iga Swiatek with both players having serious looks brought out plenty of humorous discussion online.

Nadal, who is inching very close to his retirement, will be hoping to win his third Olympic gold with the help of his younger and fitter partner. 

Besides them, Djokovic will be very motivated to win the gold medal for his country. He has previously spoken about his desire to stand on top of the podium at the quadrennial event and will be doing his best to make his dreams come true.
