Fredrick Lee Kerley is an American track and field sprinter who has achieved a lot in his illustrious career. He is known for competing in the 400 meters distance. Fred has won a plethora of medals at the World Championships in the 400 m and 4 × 400 m relay including an individual bronze as well as relay gold in 2019.

Kerley turned professional back in 2017 and joined club ALTIS in Phoenix, Arizona. That proved to be a major stepping stone for him as he trained there under the guidance of Kevin Tyler for the 2018 season. However, in 2019 he went back to Texas and trained under Alleyne Francique.

For now, it appears that Fred is single and is focussing on his career. Back in 2016, Fred Kerley tried out for the Olympic team at the USA Olympic Trials. He couldn’t qualify out of his heat but impressed one and all with his incredible stamina and agility.

Moreover, Fred went on to represent the United States at the NACAC Under-23 Championships in 2016 where he led the 4 × 100 meters relay team to gold. Fred had a wonderful 2021 season as well. He won the men’s 100 meters in 9.96 seconds at the Golden Spike in Ostrava and finished ahead of former Olympic and World champion Justin Gatlin.

Adding another feather to his cap, Fred won gold in the World Championships held in 2019 in Doha, Qatar in 4 × 100 meters and finished third in the 400 meters event.
