Does talent run in genes in the Hunter family? Well, seems like it as the 2024 Heisman Trophy winner’s younger brother, Trayvis recently got an offer from prominent universities after he announced his decision to pursue college football.

A video from the young Hunter recently went viral all over the internet as fans were left in utter shock after seeing his phenomenal athletic skills at South Florida Express camp– where fans also observed more than just similarities in their names. But who is this new emerging star from the Hunter family, let’s find out!

Who is Travis Hunter’s younger brother, Trayvis? 

Unlike his big brother, Trayvis currently aces at the offensive side of the ball as wide receiver. The 5’7’’ football player is currently a sophomore at Effingham County High School, preparing for his recruitment from prominent college football teams.

While exploring the teams, Trayvis recently toured Florida State University, a place that once seemed to welcome his big brother before he joined HBCU. Travyis is entering the college football landscape just after Travis embarks on his journey to the NFL. Mama Hunter, who was quite emotional at Travyis’s announcement, expressed pride and happiness seeing her son’s success in their respective careers.

Similar to his brother, the young Hunter displayed versatility and drive in the high school football landscape. While it’s inevitable for him to be compared to the Colorado two-way superstar, he wants to build his own name.

While accepting the prestigious Heisman Trophy, Travis gave a special shoutout to his brother Trayvis, a future wide receiver of the Class of 2027. He expressed wanting to be a “shining light” to his siblings and it appears Travvis is already following in his footsteps.

Last Monday, the young Hunter revealed receiving an offer from Tennessee State University coached by former NFL star Eddie George. Interestingly, he has been approached by his brother’s former team, Jackson State, who are coming off an impressive feat in the Celebration Bowl.
