At SummerSlam, Nia Jax cashed in her Queen of the Ring win against Bayley. After an engaging back-and-forth encounter, The Irresistible Force became the new WWE Women’s Champion. Although she has won the title before, this win might’ve been the biggest moment of her career so far. Having said that, the well-deserved new champion will look ahead to dominating the women’s division on the blue brand. And Jax might begin her run at Bash in Berlin against a worthy opponent.

The Samoan wrestler has a worthy lineup of challengers lying in wait for her on SmackDown. With top stars like Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill embroiled in a rivalry for the Women’s Tag Team Championships, this leaves only a small number of worthy contenders. One superstar who could pose a threat to Jax immediately is Piper Niven. Both powerhouses have the potential to put on a banger at Bash in Berlin.

On the latest episode of SmackDown, Niven and her partner, Chelsea Green, confronted Jax’s friend, Tiffany Stratton, backstage. Hence, it might’ve been a teaser for what can happen on next week’s show. The former Tag Team Champions may end up interrupting Jax’s Women’s Championship celebration. This is where Niven can lay down a challenge to the 40-year-old star. Moreover, it sets up a tag team feud between the two sides.

Nonetheless, there is also the possibility of Bayley invoking her rematch clause against Nia Jax. Interestingly, there were a few fan rumors that suggested Charlotte Flair might be preparing for her in-ring return. The Queen suffered a knee injury in December and has been out of action since then.

Other matches that could take place at Bash in Berlin

A week removed from SummerSlam, WWE has revamped its flagship shows with new rivalries. Among those fresh matchups, two new matches were announced for Bash in Berlin. After their controversial King of the Ring final finish, Gunther and Randy Orton will square off for the World Heavyweight title.

As for the Undisputed WWE Championship, Cody Rhodes will defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Owens. On tomorrow’s episode of Raw, The Judgment Day continues. As such, a mixed tag team bout pitting Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley against Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan is expected to be made official.

Moreover, CM Punk might be looking for a rematch against Drew McIntyre. The two are reportedly set for a Hell in a Cell bout at the October Bad Blood PLE. Regardless, Bash in Berlin is shaping up to be one of the most memorable shows of the year.
