Harry Hall has won his first PGA Tour event, the 2024 ISCO Championship in Kentucky. He clinched the victory in a dramatic five-man playoff with a remarkable chip-in birdie on the third playoff hole. Hall’s outstanding performance moved him to the 100th position on the Official World Golf Rankings.
Hall carded a 3-under 69 in the final round to force a playoff with Matt NeSmith, Pierceson Coody, Zac Blair, and Rico Hoey, all of whom finished at 22-under 266 on the Champions Course at Keene Trace. In the playoff, Hall managed to save par on the first extra hole after a challenging drive, leading to his eventual victory.
On the par-3 ninth hole, the third playoff hole, Hall sealed his triumph with a remarkable 45-foot birdie chip, while his competitors NeSmith and Coody faltered with their attempts from behind the hole. The playoff format was grueling, with the players competing on the 18th hole, then the 9th hole, and rotating between the two until a winner was determined.
After the first extra hole, the field was narrowed down to three players: Hall, NeSmith, and Coody.
On the second playoff hole, the par-4 18th, all three players managed to par the hole, setting up the dramatic conclusion on the par-3 9th.
