While the first at the Iconic Circuit took place in 1962, not many people are aware that the first official Mexican Grand Prix took place in 1963.

The race was an instant hit among the fans and continued until the year 1970, however, F1 took a break from the Circuit and returned again in 1986, just to part ways again in 1992.

The Circuit has had its ups and downs with the pinnacle of motor racing, but despite this fact, the track continued hosting nationwide series during the 2000s.

Moreover, since then, it has been a regular on the sport’s calendar and it was only absent in the year 2020, because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
