A recent report from the Guardian has revealed that Marcus Rashford won’t be playing for Manchester United ever again. The Englishman has left for Aston Villa on a loan deal in the winter transfer window. Villa were looking for the attacker right from the start of the transfer window, and they also have a clause in the deal to sign the Englishman permanently when the season ends. Now, it remains to be seen if Villa goes on to trigger that clause.

Rashford had fallen out of favour under the new manager Ruben Amorim and has not played for the club since December. So, he needed to leave Old Trafford in order to play consistently. His relationship with the Red Devils has turned sour. However, the player still has enough quality to thrive at Aston Villa.

Rashford is electrifying on the pitch and is known for his blistering pace and sharp finishing. His dribbling skills often leave defenders in the dust, and his ability to score from tight angles is remarkable. Therefore, he can surely come in handy for a club that has qualified for the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League.

Rashford has scored four goals in 15 matches so far in the Premier League 2024/2025 season. Overall, his goals scored per 90 minutes is 0.37. Moreover, Rashford’s total G/A (goals + assists) is five for this season. His goal involvement equates to 0.46 per 90 minutes. His non-penalty xG per 90 minutes is 0.33.

The player has appeared in 15 matches this season in the Premier League, playing a total of 983 minutes. Rashford will be looking to shine at Villa, but he will definitely not be playing for the Red Devils ever again as per the report.

Manchester United will be looking to sign Oihan Sancet in the summer transfer window

Oihan Sancet has shown the spark with his performances, and many high-profile clubs have been linked with the player. Fichajes has reported that Manchester United are one of the clubs that are interested in signing him and will be looking to get him in the summer transfer window.

Sancet has scored eight goals in 18 matches so far in the La Liga 2024/2025 season. Overall, his goals scored per 90 minutes is 0.65. Moreover, Sancet’s total G/A (goals + assists) is nine for this season. His goal involvement equates to 0.73 per 90 minutes. His non-penalty xG per 90 minutes is 0.43. This puts Sancet’s npxG output at 4.97.

Manchester United will be looking to get some good signings in the summer transfer window to give the proper players to Amorim in the next season. Sancet has the vision and is versatile enough on the field. Hence, the Red Devils view him as the perfect signing for their setup. His contract with Athletic Club runs till the summer of 2032, and it remains to be seen if they let Manchester United get him.
