Will Pucovski has been ruled out of the fourth and final Test against India in Brisbane as he suffered a shoulder injury during his debut Test match in Sydney. Marcus Harris, the left-handed batsmen, will open with senior Australian player David Warner instead. Harris last played Test in the 2019 Ashes.

Pucovski picked up the injury when he landed heavily on the field while diving to make a save on Day 5 of the third Test at SCG. He was taken for scans then.

He did travel to Brisbane with the Australian squad but couldn’t take up his training. The 22-year-old made the headlines right in the first innings of his Test debut at the SCG. He had hit a blistering knock of 62 runs and was praised for playing mature innings.

Apart from Harris coming in for Pucovski, Australia are unchanged for the fourth Test.
