2025 Daytona 500 champion William Byron invites popstar Sabrina Carpenter to a NASCAR race
William Byron seems to have found an extra level of confidence following his 2025 Daytona 500 win and his recent comments shows it.

Hendrick Motorsports’ William Byron marked history at the 2025 Daytona 500, as he became first driver since Joe Gibbs Racing veteran Denny Hamlin to win back-to-back “Great American Races.” He was one of the strongest drivers of the day and got the well-deserved lucky break at the end, with the chaotic last lap wreck.
Following the victory, William Byron seems to have found a new confidence. He is more joyful during the promotional events, including his appearance in the WWE Monday Night RAW event after the event. Byron also seems to have elevated his social media game as his recent post responding to a photoshopped image featuring him and popstar Sabrina Carpenter caught fans by surprise.

An X page “The Daily Downfords” which is the parody of NASCAR news/podcast outlet “The Daily Downforce” posted a fake screenshot that shows Byron leaving a flirty reply to Sabrina Carpenter’s recent Instagram post. The HMS driver responded to it with an it’s not me meme via his official X page.
Then TMZ, reached out to Byron seeking his comments about the post and he the youngster played his card there. He used the opportunity to invite Carpenter, who has been to NASCAR races in the past, to attend a race soon. The No:24 Chevy driver is open to going to one of the singers shows as well.

William Byron shares glimpses into his relationship with crew chief Rudy Fugle
Since Byron joined Hendrick Motorsports in the Cup series, veteran crew chief Rudy Fugle has been leading the No:24 Chevy team. He has helped Byron to establish himself as a championship contender and in the words of the later have a relationship that is pretty solid.
We don’t get stale. We’re not afraid to talk to each other and get through things.
William Byron said.
Rudy Fugle has high hopes for the team he has built with the young racer and is hoping that one day they can build the correct environment that will enable them win races easily. The veteran will play the most important role in Byron’s championship chase.
If we build a good enough team, things like this happen more times than not, and that’s what we’ve been working on. It’ll hopefully just become easier and easier as we go.

The comments from the duo regarding their relationship shows a strong team dynamic that is capable of yielding a championship. It would be interesting to see how much more accom0pshiments the duo is going earn before eventually parting ways.
