I’m not new anymore. I know how I’m going to feel before the final, I’ve been in this position before. I’ll try to do the things that went well last year. It’s going to be a really good day for Spanish people with the football [crowd boos him]. I didn't say Spain is going to win, I'm just saying it's going to be a really fun day.

Alcaraz is also aiming for Novak Djokovic‘s 24 Grand Slam titles and knows he has a long way to go. But he is way ahead of the other young players with three major titles already in his trophy cabinet.

Alcaraz won his first major title at the 2022 US Open and then next year, he won the Wimbledon by beating Djokovic in five sets. Winning this year’s French Open has made him the youngest player in the Open Era to win major titles on different surfaces. The only Grand Slam trophy he is yet to win is the Australian Open.

Alcaraz has reached three Grand Slam finals before this Wimbledon and won them all. He is now waiting for the winner of the second semifinal between Djokovic and Lorenzo Musetti for Sunday’s summit clash. The Spaniard is 2-3 against Djokovic and 3-1 against Musetti in the head-to-head clash.
