“Wish I could do normal things,” LeBron James reveals his IMPOSSIBLE wish

We’ve all heard countless times how players prefer to act like normal people and dislike having their every move scrutinized. The perhaps greatest player of all time  LeBron James recently expressed his wish to be able to carry out the same activities as regular people.

“I don’t want to say it ever becomes too much, but there are times when I wish I could do normal things,” LeBron said, quoted by the New York Times. “I wish I could go to Target sometimes and walk into Starbucks and have my name on the cup just like regular people.”

James further added, “I’m not sitting here complaining about it, of course not. But it can be challenging at times.” Being the face of the most famous league in the world for more than 15 years makes it difficult to step out, and it’s even harder when you’re as friendly and humble as The King.

Lebron James is 36 points away from Recreating History

LeBron James needs just 36 points to break the all-time scoring record, which has been held by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. He will sit at the top of another huge landmark and likely clear Michael Jordan in the goat debate.

The superstar of the Los Angeles Lakers scored 27 points in a challenging defeat over the New Orleans Pelicans. The fact that King’s scoring average for the year is 30.0 could indicate that he will break the record when the Lakers play the Oklahoma City Thunder. King James, however, remains a possibility; he may pull it off in Thursday’s game against the Bucks as well.

The King will surpass Kareem’s record with a higher career scoring average and in fewer games. LeBron James has a 27.2 scoring average in 1,405 games. Over the course of 1,560 games, Abdul-Jabbar averaged 24.6 points per contest.

LeBron James is having a fantastic season; he is averaging more points and rebounds than he did in his MVP season and is doing everything in his power to get the Los Angeles Lakers back into the playoff picture after losing out on one the previous year.
