“Greatest performance in NCAA tournament…girl or boy!” Caitlin Clark’s performance alluded as ‘Steph Curry influence’ by NBA champ Paul Pierce
Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers will face each other after 3 years in final four.
Caitlin Clark moving to the WNBA could revolutionize basketball
Caitlin Clark vs. Angel Reese took place on Monday night, and the lowa star had a wonderful evening. She scored 41 points, leading her squad to a 94-87 victory over the LSU Tigers. Paul Pierce was full of praise for the young star after her amazing solo performance. The most astounding thing is that she’s been compared to WNBA legends and NBA icon Stephen Curry.
The Boston Celtics star discussed the amazing skills of the NCAA All-Time Leading Scorer in great detail on Fox Sports’ “Undisputed” show. He repeated his claims that Caitlin Clark and Stephen Curry are identical and that Clark had shaped Curry’s playing technique. Given that both players are geniuses at shooting beyond the arc, his claims do hold some water.
I will tell you this was the greatest performance I have ever seen in the NCAA tournament, girl or boy. I have never compared a female basketball player to an NBA basketball player. Most of the comparables are to other female players. Lisa Leslie, Tina, Candace Parker, Sheryl Swoopes. They are all comparable, but the only comparable to her is Steph Curry. I have never seen anything like this so hats off to her.

The game was exhilarating, and Clark ensured that her performance was exactly like her profile in the world of basketball. Also, they were facing the 2023 NCAA final competitor and she couldn’t afford to lose this game.
Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers meet once again after 3 years
Caitlin Clark of Iowa and Paige Bueckers of UConn are two of the best hoopers in women’s college, without question. The two, who have been dominating for their respective teams for several years, will finally square off in the 2024 Women’s NCAA Tournament. When they last faced each other, in 2021, they were both freshmen.
That last meeting was in the Sweet 16, where Clark and Iowa lost 92–72. However, Bueckers scored 18 points while Clark scored 21, giving Clark the advantage in terms of individual performance. Although the two stars are regarded as amazing athletes, statistics speak, and Clark talks more loudly than the others.
The Indiana Fever owns the first overall pick in the WNBA draft, and Clark will be moving for it. However, Bueckers will not be available for the draft and will remain for another season. This might be the last time they will face each other in NCAA shirts.
