In what is utterly shocking news, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam has been accused of sexually and financially abusing a woman from Lahore. The woman named Hamiza Mukhtar accused the batting ace of the same in a press conference at Lahore on Saturday.

In the conference, the woman stated that Babar had abused her while the two were in a relationship before he became a cricketing star. She went on and stated that the two were school mates who were in love. She added that the two had eloped in 2011 since their families did not approve of their relationship. But allegedly, Babar decided against marrying her and the woman claims, has been ‘exploiting’ her since then.

‘He has been exploiting me for ten years’

Speaking at the conference, the woman said, “He has been exploiting me for ten years by giving false promises of marriage.” She further claimed that she and Babar had lived together in various houses and that she had provided huge financial support to the cricketer which he didn’t return. Her next sensational claim was that she had played a crucial role in helping the Pakistani skipper make it in cricket through her financial help.

Mukhtar was accompanied by her lawyer in the conference and signed off claiming that she had repeatedly approached both the police and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) but had not received a single response.
