The ICC Women’s ODI World Cup is up and running with India putting up an impressive performance against Sri Lanka to earn a 59-run victory in the opening game of the tournament. Their next focus now will be archrivals Pakistan and the talks around the game have been dominating the sporting world.

Sri Lanka was brought into the mix as co-hosts after the cricket managements of India and Pakistan came to a conclusion recently that they will only play each other at neutral venues and will not travel to their respective countries for matches.
