In the men’s singles category the semi finalists were Anders Antonsen, Chou Tien Chen, Viktor Axelsen, Wang Tzu Wei.

Anders Antonsen took the first game in 27 minutes 21-18. It was a surprise for Wang Tzu Wei to see Antonsen go aggressive and attack, unlike yesterday’s group stage game. Wang Tzu had won the match 21-11, 21-19 at much ease. Today he visibly looked bewildered and frustrated in the first half of the first game. He then gradually found his rhythm and started reacting better and play decisive shots. However, the Dane had taken the lead and taken the first game.
