When WWE announced that Raw was moving to Netflix, many fans were worried about potential livestreaming issues that often accompany such streaming services. The streaming process has actually been quite smooth over the past month. However, it seems that such issues have finally caught up with the promotion’s programming.
Many fans complained about streaming glitches during the latest episode of Raw. The footage kept cutting to black, the images were constantly flickering, and some complained about audio distortions. Things had gotten much worse during the main event of the show, which pitted Sami Zayn against CM Punk in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match.
It is worth noting that the Netflix logo remained visible throughout Raw‘s blackouts. This led to many fans speculating that the feed originating from the streaming giant’s end of things was fine. Instead, the programming issues stemmed from WWE’s production feed in Cleveland. These issues were also present in immediate replays of the episode.

Netflix faced a lot of criticism for its streaming issues a few months ago while broadcasting the fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson. The event drew 108 million global viewers who had to bear through frozen footage, blacked-out images, or unwatchable feeds. In fact, the streaming giant even had to face a lawsuit because of this debacle.

The wrestling world was quite surprised to see such glitches on their programming feeds. Some fans didn’t even believe that the stream was facing an issue. Instead, they thought that these glitches were intentional and probably a teaser related to the Wyatt Sicks.
During the build-up to the debut of the spooky faction, WWE Raw’s stream often glitched out during entrances, matches, or other backstage segments. Thus, these glitches reminded many fans of that experience.

Many social media users said that regardless of whether it was Netflix or WWE behind these issues, they shouldn’t exist in 2025. Other netizens were a little more understanding. They said that all production companies, no matter how big they are, have to face such issues at some point or another, especially while having just moved their entire broadcasting process.
