CM Punk will soon return to in-ring action after seven months, as he will face Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam. However, before that, he appeared at the San Diego Comic-Con for the WWE Mattel panel discussion. Fellow WWE star Zoey Stark and WWE personality Sam Roberts were also present on the panel. Mattel is the company that creates action figures of WWE superstars.
A fan took to X and shared a video of Zoey Stark becoming emotional upon seeing her action figure. She was teary-eyed and said that she had always dreamed of becoming a WWE superstar one day, and it had finally come true. CM Punk consoled her and expressed his excitement at seeing the 30-year-old star share her feelings.
However, the account expressed extreme disgust while sharing the video and claimed that Punk was being “touchy.” The fan also alleged that The Second City Saint was being too friendly with her, considering he is a married man. Nevertheless, the San Diego Comic-Con panel was enjoyable, and fans were thrilled to see their beloved wrestlers there.
Punk has been training to get back into the ring for his megafight against Drew McIntyre. After costing him the World Heavyweight Championship at the Money in the Bank PLE, The Scottish Warrior lost his temper and even attacked the officials. The match was made official on the latest episode of Raw, with Seth Rollins announced as the special guest referee at SummerSlam.
