The new version of the Bloodline finally claimed some gold as Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga became the new WWE Tag Team Champions. They defeated Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa in the main event of SmackDown to win the titles. This match proved once again how dangerous the Samoan Werewolf is, as he showcased his ruthless and cat-like agility.
On last week’s episode of SmackDown, Jacob Fatu replaced Tonga Loa due to the latter’s injury. He participated in the tag team turmoil match with Tama Tonga and won, as they entered last. The duo received their title match on the latest episode of SmackDown, and their match against Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa was excellent.
The match began at a thrilling pace, with fans witnessing a rapid exchange between Tama and Ciampa before the former drove him into the post. After constant interference from The Bloodline, Fatu secured the victory with his devastating Samoan Drop and Springboard Moonsault, winning the titles for his team. Unfortunately, #DIY lost the titles just after winning them earlier this month from Austin Theory and Grayson Waller.
The Bloodline could add another title at SummerSlam, as Solo Sikoa will battle Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Title. In the opening segment of the show, The American Nightmare agreed to the Bloodline Rules match, the same type of match in which he defeated Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL. It will be interesting to see whether he can overcome Solo, with other members legally interfering.

It wasn’t shocking news for fans, knowing how dangerous The Bloodline really was. Some fans praised Jacob Fatu’s performance and called him a “beast” for absolutely decimating Gargano. Others were disappointed because the title reign of #DIY didn’t last any longer.
One fan stated that a wrestler like Fatu was truly unique, as no one of his stature could perform moves like him. Another fan wished that DIY had held those titles for a bit longer but was happy for The Samoan Werewolf for winning his first title in WWE. Here are some of the top reactions from fans:

Another user claimed that although the 32-year-old star was a tough nut to crack, he was nothing compared to Roman Reigns.
