Continuing his successful Hollywood career, Dave Bautista is set to star alongside Pamela Anderson in Gia Coppola’s The Last Showgirl. The film’s photographer, Jamie Lee Curtis, shared a few portraits from the set of the movie, and it has taken the WWE Universe aback.

A photo of the 55-year-old in his getup from the movie shoot has started making rounds on the internet and social media. Bautista was seen rocking long, luscious white hair and a dense white beard. This look was completely different from the former WWE Champion’s classic bald look that fans were used to.

The Last Showgirl will be released in theatres all over the world on January 10th, 2025. The movie focuses on Shelley, a seasoned Las Vegas showgirl played by Pamela Anderson. The character is trying to face an uncertain future after retiring from her stripping career.

Dave Bautista began deviating from the wrestling world nearly a decade ago. He had become a huge Hollywood hit as part of MCU’s Guardians of the Galaxy. A few years later, he had a no-holds-barred retirement match against Triple H at WrestleMania 35. He has not been seen in the promotion ever since. However, he did recently speak about his retirement from WWE.

The wrestling world went bonkers after seeing Dave Bautista’s new look. Several social media users mentioned how he was looking much better and more attractive in this look as compared to before, even though he was 55 years old now.

Some netizens said that this new look made him look like other mainstream celebrities, such as Kurt Russell or Lou Diamond Phillips. Another user said that the 2x WrestleMania main-eventer looked like an additional member of the band Faith. Meanwhile, a fan joked that he looked like a homeless guy who provides unsolicited advice in a liquor store.

Fans were incredibly happy to see Bautista have the success that he has had in Hollywood. He had faced a lot of hardships while trying to crack it in professional wrestling and Hollywood. His close friend, Triple H, recently spoke about how he had to live on his friend’s couch while struggling to become an actor.
