Cody Rhodes is often called the John Cena of the current generation. Apart from being a charismatic babyface, and the face of the company, he is also well-regarded for his interactions with his fans. The WWE Undisputed Champion has a lot of young fans, and his interaction with one of them recently went viral on social media.

At a house show in Kalamazoo, Cody Rhodes defended his WWE Undisputed Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura. After his match, a young fan ran inside the ring to embrace the 38-year-old. She also sported her favorite wrestler’s merchandise and wore his red, blue, and white colors, similar to those of The American Nightmare.

The little girl ran inside the ring and gave Rhodes a big hug. The champion took his iconic weight belt and gifted it to the young lady. She seemed elated by the gesture as the SmackDown superstar raised her hand in the middle of the ring.

The little girl then grabbed a microphone but seemed too shy to say anything in front of the audience. She gave Rhodes another hug and waved goodbye to him as she exited the ring. The crowd cheered loudly throughout this interaction and appreciated the superstar’s gesture.
