WWE Universe reacts to Nia Jax's soft finishing move on SmackDown (via WWE)
Nia Jax cannot seem to catch a break from criticism by social media users. Although she has put on some good matches since her 2023 return, she continues to catch flak for her in-ring mannerisms. During the latest episode of SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton faced Candice LeRae with the 40-year-old by ringside.
As Stratton started to gain an advantage, her WrestleMania opponent, Charlotte Flair, made her entrance and joined the commentary panel. Later during the match, The Buff Barbie hit a Finlay Roll on her opponent. However, Jax dragged LeRae out of the ring before the champion could go for her moonsault.
Stratton rushed out, landed a dropkick on Nia Jax, hit LeRae with an Alabama Slam on the barricade, and got in the ring after pointing at the WrestleMania sign while looking at Flair. The WWE Women’s Champion got back into the ring, landed the Prettiest Moonsault Ever, and picked up the pinfall victory.

After the match, Jax blindsided Stratton and laid her out. Trish Stratus came out to make the save, but LeRae joined the fight and equalized. The Irresistible Force then stacked her Elimination Chamber opponents on top of each other and hit a two-for-one Bonzai Drop. However, on her way down, she grabbed the top rope, landed on her legs, and then sat down on her rivals, leading to a very soft-looking finisher.

The wrestling world could not stop laughing after seeing such a soft move by Nia Jax. They mentioned that she just sat on top of them without doing any damage. Of course, this is not the first time that Jax has received criticism for landing moves softly on her opponents. Her soft chair shots at Survivor Series: WarGames told a similar story. She waited for her opponents to get in position just to lightly graze them with a chair.
Another fan mentioned that if she had landed that move properly, it could have resulted in both Tiffany Stratton and Trish Stratus getting hurt. Thus, she was just trying to protect them. Jax has justifiably been under fire for being an unsafe worker in the past. She has injured multiple superstars in the ring, including Becky Lynch, Bayley, and Kairi Sane. Since her 2023 return, she has been trying to be extra careful with the safety of her co-workers.

Netizens have seen Jax being mostly unbothered by such fan criticism. When someone called her out for being too worried about hurting her colleagues, she simply said that she enjoyed evoking such emotions from netizens.
