Dave Bautista has found huge success in Hollywood after his stint with WWE. He got his huge break by starring in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and is now stars alongside Pamela Anderson in Gia Coppola‘s The Last Showgirl. 

For the movie, Bautista has adopted a new look, which features him sporting long, grey, and white hair. The Animal has now shared some more images of himself from the production of this film. These pictures show him smoking a cigarette in his new look, behind the scenes with his co-stars, recording in the studio, and several other photos from the set.

The Last Showgirl had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2024. Furthermore, it was released in theaters all over the world on January 10th, 2025. The movie focuses on Shelley, a seasoned Las Vegas showgirl played by Pamela Anderson. The character is trying to face an uncertain future after retiring from her stripping career.

It appears that Bautista has now fully shifted his focus towards a career in the movies. His chances of returning to professional wrestling are slim to none. A few years ago, he had a no-holds-barred retirement match against Triple H at WrestleMania 35. He has not been seen in the promotion ever since. However, he did recently speak about his retirement from WWE.

Wrestling fans were blown away by Dave Bautista‘s new look and his getup from the movie shoot. The 56-year-old was seen rocking long, luscious white hair and a dense white beard. This appearance was completely different from the former WWE Champion’s classic bald look that fans were used to.

A fan said that the images of him smoking cigarettes looked very cool, so much so that they could be put on a poster and framed on the wall. Other fans said that this new look made him look like other mainstream celebrities, such as Kurt Russell, George Lopez, or Lou Diamond Phillips.

Many social media users also commended the 2x WrestleMania main-eventer for how far he had come in his life. He appears to be taking his acting career very seriously. Some fans noted his past reduction in weight, and how him bulking up once again could be for his movie roles.
