WWE’s recent rise in popularity has attracted a lot of mainstream attention to the product. A greater number of people are seen wearing wrestling merchandise in public, including celebrities. San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle, who is a well-known WWE fan, was recently spotted wearing Jey Uso merchandise.
Kittle was recently spotted wearing a Jey Uso t-shirt to his San Francisco 49ers game. Unfortunately, the 31-year-old’s team has not been performing too well recently. The team has lost six out of the last seven games they played and is tasked with facing the Cardinals on Monday.
Just like the 49ers, Uso has not been performing too well over the past few weeks either. This past week on Raw, he was ambushed by Drew McIntyre and laid out with a Claymore. During the latest episode of SmackDown, he teamed up with his brother, Jimmy Uso, and Sami Zayn to take on The Bloodline. Not only did his team lose the match, but he was also the one to take the pin after being the victim of a Samoan Spike.

WWE recently had another celebrity involved in one of their shows. Popular American actress and singer Vanessa Hudgens attended the latest episode of SmackDown live alongside her husband, Cole Tucker. The two were spotted pledging their allegiance to the Women’s United States Champion, Chelsea Green. Furthermore, she also joined Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, and others in the ring to perform the iconic Yeet hand gesture with them.

The wrestling world was aware that George Kittle was a huge WWE fan. However, they were taken aback after seeing his fandom for Jey Uso. A fan trolled him, saying that this was the reason why his team was performing terribly. Another joked that the t-shirt made sense as the 49ers were also yeeted from the playoffs.

Jokes aside, many fans were happy to see the stardom that Jey Uso had achieved in less than two years. He is one of the top merchandise sellers in the entire company, and his merch is being worn by celebrities as huge as Kittle.

The WWE Universe was also happy to welcome Kittle into wrestling fandom. In fact, the tight end has already been a part of various WWE moments. He helped Pat McAfee at WrestleMania 39 in taking down The Miz. Furthermore, he is also close friends with Bayley, a 49ers fan. She even gifted him a customized WWE Championship belt.
