Former WWE Superstar Nikki Bella has filed for divorce from Artem Chigvintsev. He was arrested for domestic violence, weeks before she decided to separate. Their marriage lasted for two years, and they have a son together named Matteo.
According to TMZ, Artem Chigvintsev was arrested on August 29 for felony corporal injury to one’s spouse. It was reported that a visible injury to Nikki Bella triggered his arrest. The former Women’s Champion was already looking for a divorce lawyer after he was arrested, and she found one in Evan Craig Itzkowitz.
Nikki Bella had already taken off her wedding ring while she was boarding her private jet. The couple met on the set of Dancing with the Stars in 2017.
