Since CM Punk returned to WWE at Survivor Series: WarGames last year, everyone was in utter shock. He was able to mend bridges with one of the most important people in the business, Triple H, to make it possible. The Best in the World signed a contract until 2026 and is set to wrestle Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam. However, ahead of his match against Drew, there have been some recent reports regarding his WWE contract.

According to reports from PWInsider, WWE is discussing a new long-term deal with CM Punk. Although he was under contract until 2026, they wanted to secure a bigger deal. His deal, which runs until November 2026, did not include injury time. The reason the Stamford-based company offered him a bigger contract was his ability to draw numbers and sell merchandise.

Despite his controversial past in WWE and AEW, The Second City Saint has been on his best behavior. He frequently visited the young and rising stars of the NXT brand, offering them words of wisdom whenever they needed it.
