Survivor Series is becoming quite famous for its comedic backstage skits. This year was no different. The Alpha Academy made fans laugh out loud at home and even featured an NSFW scene with Otis. The show featured an advertisement from “True Classic”, as evident by the logo in the corner. However, what went down in the ad was considered very weird by fans.

During the show, Akira Tozawa was seen knocking on a locker room door, trying to get the powerhouse out of there. Maxxine Dupri then came into the frame and walked up to the Japanese superstar. She asked him to give a T-shirt to the former Money in the Bank winner. At the same time, Otis came out of the locker room. He put on his shirt before the female superstar gave him a weird look.

Maxxine Dupri told him that he needed to put on some pants. However, the 32-year-old simply walked away, his lower half blurred and pixelated on screen, as he was not wearing anything underneath. This was certainly hilarious and awkward for WWE and an advertisement for T-shirts.

This is not the first time that Alpha Academy has put on a hilarious skit for Survivor Series. Last year, the faction put on an advertisement for Ruffles, and Otis began fighting with Pretty Deadly over the correct name for chips/crisps. It was during this skit that R-Truth made his return to WWE and has been a lovable addition to the roster since.

The WWE Universe certainly found this advertisement entertaining and hilarious, albeit a bit weird at the same time. They appreciated Otis and his comedic timing. Furthermore, it was good to see Alpha Academy get some screen time on a PLE like Survivor Series, even if it was in a backstage segment. The faction surely knows how to maximize each and every second that they get on TV.

Some fans were still upset to see the Raw superstar play a comedic character, especially compared to what he could have been. The amateur wrestler was highly over during the summer. His standing up to Chad Gable‘s abuse and protecting his friends was getting the loudest pops of the night. However, WWE never pulled the trigger on him, leaving him in his current state.

Regardless, fans were happy to see Alpha Academy stay relevant and find some success even without Chad Gable. His tag team had recently defeated The New Day on the latest episode of Raw, causing further descension between Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston. Still, the trio has yet to win any championships since their leader left them.
