Iga Swiatek vs. Amanda Anisimova: Match Preview
Iga Swiatek is chasing her fourth title of the season at the WTA Finals. Following months of struggles (she was making deep runs but was not reaching the finals), Swiatek finally reached the summit clash of the Bad Homburg Open- her first final on grass.

But Jessica Pegula denied her the win. Swiatek did not have to wait for much longer because at Wimbledon, to the surprise of the tennis world, she double-bageled Amanda Anisimova in the final to end her title drought.
About a month later, Swiatek added one more title to her trophy cabinet. At the Cincinnati Open, the Pole went past Jasmine Paolini in the final. The six-time Grand Slam champion then fulfilled a family dream when she was successful in lifting the Korea Open by beating Ekaterina Alexandrova. Before arriving in Riyadh, Swiatek featured in the Wuhan Open, where Paolini knocked her out in the quarterfinal.
Following a sluggish start at the start of the season, Anisimova ended the Qatar Open in her favor by defeating Jelena Ostapenko, winning her first Big Title. But in the next few events, she suffered early-round exits and struggled to make deep runs.
And then came the grass swing, and Anisimova ended up playing two finals, though she lost both. Tatjana Maria denied her victory at the Queen’s Club Championships, while at Wimbledon, she suffered that embarrassing defeat at the hands of Swiatek.
The American then became a two-time Grand Slam finalist at the US Open, where Aryna Sabalenka denied her the win. At the Asian swing, she clinched her career’s second WTA 1000 title by defeating Linda Noskova in the China Open final.
Iga Swiatek vs. Amanda Anisimova: Match Prediction
Swiatek has qualified for the WTA Finals for the fifth consecutive time (qualified for the first time in 2021). She ended the year-end championships in her favor in 2023 by breezing past Pegula. Before setting up the clash with Anisimova, Swiatek defeated Keys and lost to Rybakina.

Anisimova made her WTA Finals debut this year, the only singles player in the 54th edition of the event to feature in the event for the first time. In her previous two matches, Anisimova lost to Rybakina and defeated Keys.
Swiatek will be locking horns with Anisimova for the third time this year. After their meeting at Wimbledon, Anisimova took her revenge by knocking out Swiatek in the quarterfinals of the US Open.
Match prediction: Iga Swiatek to win in three sets.
