Viktoria Kuzmova has found it tough getting things going after the restart of professional tennis. The Slovak has failed to win any matches in the main draw since way back in March 2020. She has only played in four tournaments since August, which may have contributed to her inability to win.

The former world no. 43 has been on a rut since early 2019 which has led to her slipping to a lowly rank of 96. Her best performance this year was making it to the quarterfinals at Lyon.
