Cody Rhodes has been heavily rumoured to be at Wrestlemania Saturday as Vince McMahon’s choice of a mystery opponent to face the Visionary Seth Rollins. However, Aj Styles provided an update, or what you can say is his take on whether Cody Rhodes is back to WWE.

At WWE’s WrestleMania 38 media row, WWE Superstar AJ Styles discussed the Cody Rhodes rumours with Wrestling Inc‘s Managing Editor Nick Hausman. Styles went on to elucidate his view on the subject, stating that he has grown cynical in his years in the ring after witnessing so many rumours fail to materialise.

“Listen, I haven’t seen Cody here, so I’ll believe it when I see it,” AJ claimed. “This is what we’ve been a part of for a couple, well I’ve been decades. There’s a lot of rumours, but you don’t believe something until you actually see it.”

Aj further said that “So, if Cody is going to be at WrestleMania, I will believe it when I see it. It’s one of those things that has happened to me throughout my 20 plus years of being in the business. I don’t believe anything until I see it. Because so many times we have been promised so many things and they never happen. I am jaded, I guess you’d say. I know it sounds crazy.”

AJ Styles is scheduled to face Hall of Famer Edge on Wrestlemania Sunday and it is a match that has grasped the interest of many WWE fans.
