Edge attacks AJ Styles
AJ Styles returning from a brutal neck injury which came after Edge attacked him with 2 conchaitoes leaving him bruised up on a stretcher. Styles returned and tried to confront Edge but it was Seth Rollins who came out and tried to put himself on the WrestleMania match card.
Rollins, who has been trying to get himself a match which he deserves, challenged Styles to a match with the winner facing Edge at the Grandest Stage of them All. Styles though didn’t like the plan, had to accept the challenge and battle the Visionary in the main event.
Did Edge snap AJ Styles again after his return?
The main event saw two of the greatest in-ring performers tear each other apart trying to get a spot at the Showcase of Immortals when Edge came out and attacked Styles with a steel chair ending the match in disqualification. This led to Styles winning the match via disqualification and getting his spot confirmed for WrestleMania.
But the way he won wasn’t what he wanted. After another attack by the Rated R Superstar, AJ Styles took to Twitter and reacted to Edge’s assault. Styles said: “Feel strong. Feel smart. Feel like you accomplished something. The only thing you did was guarantee yourself a beating at #WrestleMania.”
Now that it is confirmed, the dream match will finally come true when both the legends in AJ Styles and Edge will come out at WWE WrestleMania Sunday and prove the world who the better among them is.
