UPDATE: Alexa Bliss opens up about her WWE future

Alexa Bliss is one of the most loved Superstars on the WWE roster. For majority of the last couple of years, she was seen playing a Supernatural character on screen. “The Goddess” made her much awaited return to WWE, in her old gimmick, at the Elimination Chamber. She came really close to securing a win, but was eliminated by the eventual winner Bianca Belair.
In the buildup to this match, Bliss’ participation wasn’t revealed till days before the event. She was regularly appearing in therapy sessions. She was last seen in action way back at Extreme Rules in a match against then-Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair. Post this, she went on a break from the company.
Fans had expected Alexa Bliss to back full-time after her Elimination Chamber appearance. Her performance showed that why she is one of the most loved Superstars. But unfortunately, her appearance in the premium event in Saudi Arabia was her first as well as last in a long time.
Bliss has not been seen on WWE TV since her Elimination Chamber appearance. Fans had been speculating her future in the company with many believing that she is out with an injury. A fan recently asked Alexa Bliss on Twitter about her future. To this the Goddess replied with a not so encouraging response. “Not up to me lol” she wrote.
Alexa Bliss is open to returning to NXT

The WWE Universe had been eagerly waiting for the return of the Goddess. While in the last few weeks, she was seen regularly on TV through the therapy segments, Bliss was seen in action just once in the Elimination Chamber. Her recent response to the fans suggest that the company doesn’t have a storyline for her.
But while appearing on the WWE 2K22 launch stream, Bliss hinted that she was open to moving to the NXT brand. She was asked by the host that if there was anything that she hadn’t done. In response to this Bliss teased a new stint in the company. “NXT, I have not won the NXT Women’s Championship,” mentioned Bliss.
